The view from the peak of Font Blanc is spectacular! There are several paths to get to the peak and we chose to use the northwest route for our ascent. Once you pass 7000 feet, the trail appears to have been washed and is impossible to find. We ended up with a direct ascent through loose rocks and boulders for the last 2200 feet. Taking the southeast descent, it was much easier to find the trail, although the yellow trail markers look very much like the yellow lichen that grows here. Still a beautiful and very challenging hike!

Very good hike to go to the peak. Unfortunately we could not go to the end of the course because it was off track and quite dangerous. Nevertheless, the view from the lake is fantastic

Definitely challenging but a beautiful hike. We were 3, all around 30 years old, of mixed hiking experience, handled it pretty well in right under 6 hours of moving time with about an hour total for breaks. Slower groups doing the round-trip within 8-9 hours. Start early to avoid a strong sun, we did it the beginning of September on a day with not a cloud in the sky. Highly recommend

Great weather, the sun was out but not too hot. Pretty steep going up, but some beautiful waterfalls to stop and catch your breath at. And the lake was so clear. Not a huge lake, but apparently the largest in Andorra.

It’s a tough walk up, but once you get to the first lake it gets much easier. Great views of the valley below and the small lakes are all over the place.

This was the most beautiful hike I've ever been on. However we were visiting from Barcelona and we were not used to the elevation difference from where we were visiting from. It made this hike much more difficult because of that. The estimate 1h 30mins to get to the top took closer to 2h 15m. We saw lots of families on the trail with kids as young as 7 or 8 years old. I'm not sure if they made it all the way to the top. We brought our dog with us and he had an amazing time. The lake at the top was just gorgeous and perfect for swimming. It was cold at first but we just dove in and got used to the "shock" of temperature. My recommendation: bring a picnic with you and lots and lots of water!

We very enjoy the hike/trail. We followed a this little along the trail. Very nice view. After half way, he arrived in front of a little lake. The ride is full sun no shady. Bring a lot of water and you can refresh yourself in the small fall. We didn’t see any animals, birds and insects. We took 2h30 to reach the Col of Montmanus. the first part we follow the telecabins traik. The second part we follow the yellow spot on the rocks. We recommand
