The hiking route to Cabana Sorda Lake starts at km 1.5 of the road to the Incles Valley. The track climbs around the River of the Els Comellassos spring to go into the Pinosa Forest. We will carry on north east and go past the Fenefau hillside to zigzag up to the salt works of Cabana Sorda. Then we will cross an alpine meadow to a mountain pass where there is a sign for Querol Lake and the Basses de les Salamandres; we will carry on northwards. We follow the river until we come to Cabana Sorda lake at 2,290m. A few metres from the lake there is the Cabana Sorda hut for up to 20 people. The route starts at km 1.5 on the road to the Incles Valley, in the parish of Canillo (42° 35' 42",1° 40' 24" ). The beauty of the landscape will treat you to great meadows of wild grain and subalpine settings. According to the time of year, the most prominent flora includes the English iris (Iris latifolia), the alpine pasqueflower (Pulsatilla alpina) and the original poet’s daffodil (Narcissus poeticus), the typical flower of Andorra, among others. As for fauna, it must be mentioned that this valley is home to more than 100 different species, including the palmate newt (Lissotriton helveticus), the brown frog (Rana temporaria), the sand lizard (Lacerta agilis) and the friendly marmot. Due to the relatively undemanding character of the route, it has become rather busy and familyoriented. Alongside the lake is a refuge with thesame name. It has capacity for 20 people and water is available. Fishing takes place in this lake from April to September, and you can practice highmountain diving thanks to its depth of 18 metres. For your safety, we recommend you do the routes at altitudes of over 1700 metres between the end of June and the end of September.Show more

Departure from the Bridge of Baladosa (1840m) at the end of the road of Val d'Inclès. Take the path of Juclar and Siscaro ponds for about 700m before following, on the right, the path leading to Refuge deSiscaro, then to the ponds of Siscaro. To finish it is enough to go up to the stop and follow until the Summit of the Peak of Cabaneta (2818m). Beautiful panorama of Andorra, France and Pas de la Casa which is right next to it.Show more
