We love going here in January. It's cold and brisk and the trail can be soggy in places--dress appropriately. Depending on when you go, the visitor center may or may not be open (this is for January). BUT the birds are amazing! So many ducks and other water birds all in one place. Very kid-friendly trail, level trail, and close to Tri-Cities.

Beautiful, easy trail. Dog friendly.
My easy breezy get er' done trail. i love that its so close to town. strange little tail. i like to have someone with me when i do this trail bacause its right in the middle of town and has had a homeless problem. dod friendly on leashes. i hit this one every weekend.
This was a decent trail, though after a mile in it got creepy and noticed too many camp fire remains and graffiti tags for comfort.
I've done most of my running on paved trails or dreadmills. This was a great change for me with the rocks, terrain and trees.
Nice, easy, mostly graveled trail. Trail is 2 miles one way, with plenty of benches for wildlife viewing, and a wildlife viewing blind. Beautiful in October; the leaves are turning on the tree, plenty of chatty waterfowl and flitting tweety birds. Good place to go when you need a fresh breath of air but don't want to travel more than half and hour out of the Tri-cities.

Great little trail for the kids! Open and lush considering! Very well maintained!
