The hike is extremely steep for the first half a mile or so, but it flattens out a bit once you get going. When the river is drier, you can walk across to the other side and explore, or just follow the river itself upstream. It's beautiful hike!

Excellent trail. We've visited this repeatedly with friends and family over the past several years

A pretty cool Urban Waterfall with some Urban decay from the Old Power Plant. Short hike but once done head across the Street to the Mulholland Wildflower Preserve and have two for one day. Great area. The amp on this seems to be way off though. Just follow directions to the Mulholland Wildflower Preserve and walk across the Bridge.

Good trail, but had repair work that closed the bottom 1/2 mile. Ended up doing an 8 mile out and back.

"Gorges" underrated. We loved the beautiful well kept walk

Nice trail though no water this time. Part is closed for hunting season but can easily be rerouted. Going to come back and check out in the winter I bet it is awesome all 4 seasons.

Fairly easy trail with a beautiful waterfall even during the drought. Worth a visit.

Lots of steps, but worth the climb. Not much water flowing, but still a very beautiful and enjoyable hike.
