Went there late February. Unfortunately the trail that travels along the falls was closed due to ice. Still a nice stop in the winter if you are in the Ithaca area. If you have to travel wait till Spring/Summer. For our full review visit us @ ExploreCNYTrails.com
Not really a hike but definitely a cool place to check out. The directions are way off though. Park in the little lot on Giles Street for the Mulholland Wildflower Preserve and then cross the street and turn left to go across the bridge and it is right on your right.
This is an awesome place and one of my favorites when I just can't decide where to hike. Easy areas or challenging areas depending on what you feel like. You can jump across the street to the Wells falls area and do two great hikes in a day. Highly recommend this area for am easy or strenuous hike depending on what route you take.
This is a steep trail, but it offers fabulous views and makes for a nice, fairly moderate hike. It offers views of the waterfall and dogs can come too, as long as they are kept on a leash. It makes for a great hike in late spring, summer, and early fall. There is also a swimming hole that can get very crowded on the weekends, but makes for a nice cool off after the hike. All in all, it's a great hike with a lot to offer, and I definitely will be coming back!
