Nice trail for a stroll, but there was not much of a summit. If you are looking for a hike with a great view of lakes and mountains-this is not the trail for you. This is a nice trail, but a little on the longer side. I probably woukd not do this trail again.

Great hike. It was mostly flat and not very difficult until the steep climb at the end. 1hr 45min up and an 1hr 20min on the way down. Great for leaf peeping this time a year.

Fun trip up the mountain, but was very confusing getting back to the car. Need to increase the amount of signs to make it easier to find the way back down

Great hike and great views.

The Boulder field is pretty cool, lots to see. On the top of the north peak there is a large green metal marker used by WWII bomber pilots returning from Europe for navigation.

LOVED this hike/nature walk!! So many trails to make it as short or as long as you want. We did ten miles that were quite easy. Just beautiful forests, picturesque ponds, and amazing boulders! Such a great day!! Definitely will do it again!!!

This was a fun, quick hike. Maybe an hour round trip. Just a handful of people on the trail. People bouldering in a few places once you reach the boulder field.

hiked to fire tower which was under construction good to see it getting fixed not so good for the view but still OK if you find a good rock over looking the lake to have lunch all and all a good steep hike

Beautiful forest, marshes, and these amazing boulders. We did a 10.5 mile trek on various trails, leading up to, and down from, fire tower summit. Lots of easy terrain, but pretty steep final approach to summit. Very peaceful.

If you have pets do not go through the main entrance during peak summer time. Youu have to go to the main office and have them show you the trails that are accessible during summer. We hiked a total of 7 miles that day with our small dog. Wonderful views once you hit the top! Most definitely will come back here again.

Not a pet friendly. we had to turn around!!!!
NO PET ALLOWED

You have to cut through the State Park and there you have to pay a day fee to get to this area.

Beautiful and wonderful spot to get a workout.......good spot for a group hike.

Mosquitos are bad on some stretches. Nice little hike, first five mile hike for my kiddos, 8, 7 and 2 (carried most of the way). View is pretty incredible, nice little overlook before the tower (marked orange) with a great view of Pawtuckaway Lake.
