The Hot Springs was crystal clear and it was incredibly relaxing. Marjorie and I had the place all to ourselves for about a 1/2 hour or so and 2 families showed up and joined us. Great people and the pool is large enough for a large crowd. The evenings are less family oriented and we will absolutely be back at this hot springs in the future.Helene Lohr on Twelve-Mile (Bishop Creek...3 years agohikingGreat hot springs, nice concrete pool that separates it from the cooler river, wonderful temperature and a great place to relax after a long drive. Approachable by road, but for the last section you'll be doing a couple water crossings, so make sure to have a high clearance vehicle. If you don't, no worries, just park in the last large clearing before you hit the water crossing and walk about a quarter mile to get to the springs. It's flowing into a large concrete pool a short ways past a broken down bridge. Watch out for free range cows (and cow poo!)Have fun!Christy Parker on Soldier Lakes Basin5 years agohikingVery steep climbing first mile, levels out as you climb. I went during early June so there was an abundance of wildflowers, butterflies, and wildlife.
