This is not a hiking trail, it is a reduced maintenance road used to connect from the Side Lake area across to Hwy 65 and recreational area mainly NW of there. A nice sandy gravel motorcycle route.

Great place to snowshoe, able to rent a cabin right off the lake. Cabin includes two bunk beds and electricity,an outhouse in the middle of the cabin area a hand pump water spicket (frozen in the winter ) ,a great trail center with a fireplace and microwave. Overall thick wooded area, beautiful nature. Sighted a few deer on the road ways drive with caution.

We could not find the trail head using the directions given. There is river access from RT 1.
