Beautiful walk great for bird watching.

An easy walk around a cove off Casco Bay. The path is crushed stone dust and is quite popular with the locals. You will see many runners, joggers, dogs, baby carriages and bikes. There is two parking areas at opposite sides of the loop.

Very nice, and easy walk. Very quiet considering you are right in Portland.

Nice set of trails right here in Portland. You would not even know you were in the city. Several ponds offer a variety of wildlife.

Great city trail. As someone who lives in Portland, this trail serves as a fulfilling place to get in a trail run or short mountain biking workout. I give it three stars because I'm comparing it to the white mountain hikes of NH, which is apples and oranges.

Loved it peaceful

Nice set of trails. We were geocaching and used the flat trails. Beautiful cemetery and pond area. Watch the dog when sharing the trails with bikers.

Great. It's a great place to bring babies and dogs.

Good walk, beautiful trees, history of the area, and obviously a determined effort by Portlanders to preserve wildlife. This 85-acre preserve is the home of Jewell Falls, Portland‘s only natural waterfall, as well as the site of the former Cumberland and Oxford Canal. The lowland area, where salt and freshwater marsh meet, provides great bird-watching opportunities. Great for all seasons.
