Just finished 1A today, massive amount of snow up there. It's alot better going clockwise as the climbs are broken up vs. the long up hill going counter. Just a perfect snow shoeing and beginner Xcountry track, as the hills are mostly gentle.

Great snow and trail! A bit steep at the very beginning. We snowshoed, but would be a fun xski!

Great hike, views, adventures. Must see if your visiting.

It's a good trail for all abilities near the bottom of Emerald Mountain. It can be done alone or in conjunction with many other trails on the way up or down.

It had just snowed and the views and hike were beautiful!

cutest over night bungalows!

I am a local, and absolutely love this trail. Once you are able to get off the road and onto the trail there are so many fun twisty areas. It is possible to ride up to Dry Lake Campground and back in just under 2 hours for decent mountain bikers. The scenery is great. The only section that is unable to be ridden up is call The Wall. It is a rocky 18% grade. It gets busy in the summer, but the early and late seasons are very enjoyable. There is no better feeling than having it all to yourself!

here is a short video of Spring Creek Trail: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEOvz4uZ63s

The description on this hike is incorrect. The map and elevation profile are for the hike from the parking lot to upper Fish Creek Falls, NOT to Longs Lake. As other reviewers said, the hike to Longs Lake is much further. The sign at the parking lot says it is 5 miles each way (10 miles round trip) to Longs Lake.

Even so, this is a spectacular hike. We went on a chilly October day so there were only a few hikers. The aspen trees were dropping leaves and were a beautiful golden.

Great short hike. With more spectacular views if you make the extra trip up to Long Lake.

Nice variety. Gorgeous scenery, totally doable.

This trail should not be hiked by novices. The scenery was beautiful and the hiking was fairly easy for the first 2 miles. After that the trail was so overgrown that we lost the trail and after leaving the wooded area we no longer saw the blue diamond markers that marked the trail. Thanks to the satellite map of this App we were able to find our way back to the highway. This 3.5 mile hike turned out to be a 4 mile hike with a couple of very steep climbs and untraveled wilderness. We made it back safely and we were very happy to see the main road back to our vehicle.
Thanks for the great App

Good workout uphill climb - a little crowded at the top on warmer days

Great workout! Beautiful scenery!

Short hike. Good view. Small uphill hike from the base of the falls to the parking lot

Very short hike, that is well worth the view

Fairly challenging hike. It is also a pretty popular trail, so if you are looking for seclusion you may want to hike a different trail.

My boyfriend and I went to the overlook and then Hiked down to the falls. We played on the rocks. It was beautiful!
