fun, populated trail. did it with children 9 and 13. not a long trail, but good incline.

Outstanding views but keep in mind it's a $10 entry fee

Great hike/run. Bagging all five peaks in one day is the best way to truly see mission trails. Start early! You can link all five by hiking on road from the Santee side near the campground to the backside of cowles mountain.

went on a pretty hot day. it was really hot in the beginning but got a little better in the middle of the hike. the signs are really confusing and no arrows along the trail. just posted signs. we started off the fortuna trail and ended up on the Rim trail loop. the rim trail was fun. the view up there was worth it. i wouldn't go again though unless on a cool day and if they improve on the directions.

Doing both North/South Fortuna will kick your butt, but it's totally worth it. it starts pretty easy and sneaks some challenging inclines in. Good luck

easy buy very long. a lot of traffic on this trail. started mid day and finished in pitch black. all the night noise was hauntingly beautiful.

The trail is pretty long but there is a beautiful little waterfall that I myself liked a lot. I mostly fast walked this. It wasn't really difficult but when you complete it you feel pretty good. I did a 8.5 miles loop so after all that I felt pretty good. You can bring your dogs and older kids. I loved it! Good for beginners and if you want to challenge yourself just jog the trail.

Great place to come walk/run with dogs. Parking is a bit tricky until you discover the lot.

Great hike! Did this on 9-5-16 as part of the five-peak challenge. Did them all in one day. 18.1 miles. 4,326 feet of elevation gain, 6 1/2 hours. Fun! Did Kwaay Paay first, then North Fortuna, and South Fortuna. Then, drove to Big Rock and hiked Pyles and Cowles.

Great hike!

This was amazing... If your looking for a nice place to get away then this is it.. the cliffs are a bit scary but once u slide a couple time then you will be ok.. make sure you bring a blanket in a sandwich.. To hear the oceans heart beat..

Short fun trail! Cool rocks

Very nice. Lots of folks when I went (earlier AM). I would say it is on the moderate side. The lack of man-made paths make it better for me.

Great scenery, great work out, always nice for taking pictures, there is always the option of going the long way down or cutting it short for 6 miles. Make sure you go early to avoid the heat in the summertime.

A tough one but a good training run for hills. Also the location of one of my favorite half marathon trail races.

I like this Trail, has a little bit of everything for the whole family
