hiking

Was very hard to follow trail markers. They were very confusing. Extremely easy to get lost- my cousin and I went this morning and got lost for about 45 minutes. No clear markings on which direction to continue on after a certain point. Actual trail is easy to follow for awhile, but it is not so clear after while.

hiking

Peaceful, some wildlife to observe. Other visitors are respectful and friendly. Will come back here without question. It's clean and quiet, which is hard to come by.

Nice. Not spectacular, but a decent break from being immersed in nothing but city. You can't totally escape traffic noise but there is wildlife and greenery.

walking

view is good. you can see a best area to the north, east and west. but there was a lot of dog poop and some broken glass bottles. the east half of the trail is paved while the west half is dirt.

walking

It's a pleasant short walk. The trail is slightly narrow and ends at a no trespassing point as if it used to go further but is now cut off. I seen a dry riverbed that leads to the creek but there is no defined trail leading to it.

hiking

The trails are wide as well as the landscape. I had to turn around 3/4 of the way because I spotted a family of what looked like coyotes or bobcats. I don't think this trail is supposed to be open, though, because on the way back I saw a "No trespassing" sign.

It's private property. Best bet is to call owner and see if they would let you hike. No confirmation as to if they allow anyone to hike it.

walking

Walked around this campus as part of a high school tour back around 2008. Pleasant walk with vibrant activity. Definitely an enjoyable place for the students.

hiking

Hiked the Oakridge trail with my sister and went along the southern ridge. A pair of hikers gave us a tip about a small trail at the end of the ridge that is a shortcut to the dry riverbed. Be advised that the shortcut is very narrow and along the edge with uneven and semi soft dirt at parts.

hiking

The trails were easy to maneuver and only narrow at some parts. Definitely take extra caution as snake season approaches. There is also a creek that may be worth walking along but be careful as there are no defined trails on either side of it.

walking

Very pleasant walk with plenty of shade and views of the city. Only a few trees are in bloom during February, though. Best to go during spring.
