Peaceful with a lot of different trees and plants (and turtles) to see, even in the middle-of-summer heat.

My only dislike is the algae that suffocates the waterway, but they're working on improvements to fix that. Otherwise, it's great.

I loved walking this trail. I was going with someone who had not been on it before and had read reviews that everything was dead right now, so there was not much to see. I was concerned that the person I was going with would be disappointed, but decided to go for it anyway. I am glad that I went for it because there is still plenty to see even in the dead of summer and in the midst of a drought. The drought resistant plants are beautiful and the bright green of their stream/creek/pond (depending on who you ask, lol) is uncannily serene. Lots of beautiful birds (particularly scrub jays) were out, along with butterflies, and tons of turtles. Easy trail, a couple of very minimal hills, great for the whole family.
