Not sure where they got the 2 mile out and back trail unless they meant two miles out and two miles back. we hiked two miles in and still didn't find the end of the trail. It was a nice easy hike through forests and meadows. Saw some whitetail deer at the beginning of the hike but no other big animals but there were signs of their passage.
This is a nice short trail, on the opposite side of the Jackson side of the Tetons. Great views of the mountains, but the Wyoming side is nicer, in my opinion.
