Pahaska Sunlight Trail is a 18 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Cody, Wyoming that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, birding, and cross country skiing and is accessible from May until November.

Directions from Cody: Travel 50 miles west on US 14,1 6, 20 to the signed trailhead. At the trailhead, ample parking is provided as well as a stock ramp, hitching racks, corrals, toilet facilities and a picnic table.

This is a pretty good hike. The first several miles are flat, but they are also in a part of the forest recovering from a forest fire from several years ago. We took the trail until it crossed the river. The river was running too high that year to cross.

There is a parking lot at the trailhead right off of the highway. Probably not much more than a 1/4 mile down the highway from the Pahaska Teepee store.
