Harlequin Lake Trail is a 1 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from June until September.
It's an easy trail to a small lake! We caught some frogs but the area around the lake is very muddy! Still a great time, though! Big lily pads!
This trail is really easy, other than the hike up a really small hill. Beautiful lake.
This was the last hike we did at the end of our trip on the way back out to West Yellowstone. It was a short, easy hike through some trees and with an easy grade. The lake at sunset was really beautiful, there are tons of lily pads covering the edges that you hike to. The trail head is on the north side of the road and the parking lot is on the south and it is marked by a small sign just west of Madison Junction. If you're looking for a good, easy short hike, this would be one to consider.
