St. Croix Freefall is a 23.9 mile loop trail located near St Croix Falls, Wisconsin. The trail is primarily used for road biking and is best used from March until November.
There is a 1 mile paved trail, that leads up to a very nice, wide, path in either direction. The path is NOT paved, and is compacted dirt/gravel. I went there looking for a nice 23 mile cruise on a bike path, and it turned out to be a grueling, bumpy ride.
The trail would be super for walking and running, as there are many places to get on the trail and beautiful scenery. I probably won't be going there to bike again.
