this is an awesome trail system just a heads up for people taking their kids and a stroller it's very rocky on the hills and tree roots are ample so a jogging stroller would definitely work better then a standard stroller you can make those work but be ready for a work out. This is an absolutely beautiful trail system you will not regret trying it out one bit
This was a good hike. good variety of scenery. well marked and well maintained.
beautiful. and on a hot day, very rewarding when you get to the springs.
Great woodsy trail with lots of hills!
Did this trail a few weeks ago it was very relaxing and fun.
This is by far the most interesting trail we have ever been on! From the abandoned factory to the natural springs to the cleverly placed Batman bat house it is a blast. 2.4 miles if you look at everything but it doesn't feel like it. We even saw a huge Blue Heron by the old hotel foundation from 1907. This trail is a must see!
easy loop. pretty scenery winter or summer! bridges, water, prairie and woods. minimal inclines. great place for a quick hike. an hour or less.
Flat easy trail. Interesting history along the trail. Natural springs are fun to watch. Area has filled in a lot. It was much more open where the springs are just 10 years ago.
I have been hiking this area since I was a kid. Variety of scenery. Beautiful vistas. Super topography - kettles and moraines. Easy hiking but a good workout because of the hills. Wear shoes due to loose rocks on trails.
Pretty easy, but pretty. A natural spring is really cool along this trial.
