Great trail some simple water crossings for horses very minimal rocks in trail :-)
nice hike with great wild life.
Loved the trails with some nice benches to take a break from the hike... had so much fun, I would love to do it some more...
Great trail & definitely will be back to explore some more!
Damp but glorious day! Trails in great shape for April.
Ran the red section. The DNR does an awesome job on the trail system. Gentle rolling hills make for an enjoyable non technical trail run experience.
Ran the Orange to Blue course. Easy rolling well manicured. and well marked trail system . I will be back soon to run the horsetrail soon. Highly recommend! Even the pheasant hunters and their dogs were friendly.
I drove up there from the Round Lake, IL area in mid-April to check it out. I had planned to bike the trails, but the biking trails were closed, as were the horse trails (probably due to wet conditions). Be aware of the use fees: $10 vehicle, $4 trail pass fee (bikes, horses). Cheaper for Wisconsinites. 3 stars for now; didn't spend enough time to really rate it. Just wanted to pass on the info about fees and trail closings. They have a phone number, 262-878-5600. Call ahead. 26313 Burlington Rd., Kansasville, WI 53139.
