Mallard Lake Trail is a 1.4 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Franklin, Wisconsin that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.

Wonderful trails for hiking. Lots of varieties of plants and animals. In reality there are several different trails, not just the one pictured around the lake. All of them are very well marked. The Nature Center has bathrooms. We saw a number of animals rather close to the trails, including two deer.
Peaceful; nicely wood chipped trail with boardwalks and waterfall. Also saw an array of birds

Excellent easy hike to recuperate after a hard day at work. Plenty of wildlife to be seen as well.

Trails were glare ice, which made it pretty fun to tackle:) The scenery was beautiful.

Beautiful scenery and wildlife. A little area for kids to play in a log cabin and sandbox. There are easy, moderate, and advanced level trails for all types of hikers. Also classes and fieldtrips for everyone that you can sign up for.

Great trail in Whitnall park around the Weir Nature Center. Great for kids.
