Ice Age Trail: Devil's Staircase is a 1.9 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Janesville, WI that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

The Ice Age Trail is a thousand-mile footpath highlighting the remnants left behind by glaciers during the last ice age over 12,000 years ago. Designated as a National Scenic Trail, the Ice Age trail follows the terminal moraine of the last glaciation throughout Wisconsin providing some of the world's best examples of glacial formations such as kettles, moraines, and drumlins.
very beautiful place to take a walk or do some real novice rock climbing
very scenic. Took our 3 and 6 year olds with us. We had to keep an eye on them and help them out a bit. Some areas are pretty narrow with steep drop offs but they did great.
