Asphalt with stone steps, winds between bluff edge and adjacent woods. Scenic views with drop-offs. Elephant Cave and Elephant Rock at the north end.
Great trails with scenic views of the forest and various rock formations that dominate the area. Trail is nice because it has an intersect and plenty of maps to make navigating the landmarks easy.
Love this trail.
Awesome walk in the woods.
Beautiful and a great place to take a walk!
Great trail to get away from the crowds. The east bluff woods section is quiet and beautiful.
Great trail, this one has a hike up through the rocks on the south end.
Great for a trail run! Pretty quiet trail compared to the rest of the park at times.. Happy Hiking!
A beautiful hike but be prepared for navigating through some rough terrain. Lots of rocks, boulders and tree roots. All navigable and I saw plenty of young people scampering around like goats. If you start from the south you will hit a challenging climb but the rocks/boulders are nicely stacked and plenty of handholds. Beware it be slippery. Great vistas on the East branch. May take East Forest back or the RR tracks. Fun hike!
The bluff trail makes a loop with the tumble down trail. It's good for 2.4 miles. The bluff trail has decent elevation. It was a beautiful hike though.
