Decker's Creek: Upper Section, Pioneer Rock Section, and The Town Section is a 12 mile trail located near Morgantown, West Virginia. The trail is primarily used for whitewater kayaking.
Used to ride this frequently with the kids when they were gresowing up late 90s to about 2003. As others have mentioned, the scenery is beautiful complete with some lovely waterfalls and the area aroun the cascades are gorgeous.
This trail is beautiful and rates in my book with parts of the Great Allegheny Passage.
Love riding the Decker's Creek trail. The ride up is challenging, but the way back down is a well earned blast. The trail is very well maintained aside from the downtown Morgantown section. Road intersections are clearly posted, and there are even quite a few picnic tables to stop at in case you need a break.
Always a fun day ride!
