Davis Creek Trail is a 2.4 mile out and back trail located near Hernshaw, West Virginia that features a great forest setting. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking and walking.
Fun trail, was flooded out in parts being that it's right next to the creek, but still passable if your wearing good boots.
Very pretty trail, follows the creek.
Mostly flat. Could hear traffic all along trail.
Hiked wiith a group of school children. Some sections are close to developed parts of the park, so you don't really get that "out in the woods" feeling.
Rained all night before and on the ride. Very wet, slick and rooty! Awesome!
This trail has some elevation change, but it is very well maintained. It has a view of a pond and it has a playground along the way. It is around a 2 miles point to point trail. My daughter really enjoyed the merry go round. We did encounter people riding bikes and walking their dogs.
