Vancouver Lake is a 4.4 mile out and back trail located near Vancouver, Washington and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and canoeing and is accessible year-round.
The trailhead on this map is in the middle of Vancouver Lake, so it's better to just go to the park by the lake and do an out -and-back from there. A lot of the trail meanders through a deciduous forest of cottonwood and alder, a cool and pleasant walk on a hot day that ends suddenly in a swampy area.
For being so close to my house I won't complain. Nice stroll through the woods.
There are a few flat paths along the lake. However I love this spot for SUP!
Not a hike. Just a walk along the lake. Definitely not impressive, compared to so much natural beauty in the area.
great lake to take a nice easy float.
