Tieton River Trail is a 6.4 mile out and back trail located near Naches, WA and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible from April until November.
In September you can do the river raft through various companies. The river moves swiftly and has several hazards throughout the 6 mile trip.
The directions to this location were not correct. My map said "you reached your location" while I was in the middle of nowhere.
We almost stepped on TWO rattlers!!! Beautiful hike but scary!! We got onto the trail, crosses the suspension bridge, and headed to the right. Very wooded, beautiful! After about a mile, we thought we were headed he wrong way so went back to the bridge and kept walking. After about 2.5/3 miles, we came across our first rattler. We decided to head back at that point and shortly after came across the 2nd-a baby!
