Summit Springs Trail #173 (Snass Creek) is a 5.5 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Battle Ground, Washington that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from April until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
This trail, also known as Summit Springs trail, is actually 6 miles round trip. It is NOT a loop. The east end of the trail has a good view (of McKinley Ridge). Just don't look at the ground. Unfortunately people have left their beer cans, broken beer bottles and spent shotgun shells all over the ground. Other than that is was a pleasant hike through 2nd growth forests. I rate it about 2.5.
