Silver Forest Trail is a 2.6 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Packwood, Washington that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until September.
In late August, wildflowers were everywhere on this trail! I found this trail to have good views of Mount Rainier and the wildflowers were amazing. This trail is on the less visited side of the park near Sunrise Point. This trail was one of my favorite short treks of our vacation on Mount Rainier.
