Sherman Pass Trail is a 7.3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Republic, WA that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, birding, and horses and is accessible from March until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The trail climbs and goes over a saddle to take you to views of the Kettles looking south. After hitting the loop trail, hike south and connect to the Kettle Crest Trail. Follow it less than two miles to Snow Peak cabin. Return to the loop and hike the rest of the way.
Great views, worth the drive and there are tons more trails in the area that you will want to go on. Plan for an all day event with this hike...
The trail switchbacks through heavily forested slopes until you reach an area that burned in 1988. Over 20,000 acres were burned when a lightning caused fire engulfed White Mountain and Sherman Peak. From Sherman Peak you will have anexcellent view of the entire Kettle Range.
