The trail starts out by leaving the parking lot from the police station and follows an old gravel road. The trail then turns to pavement for a short section before turning back to gravel. The trail is well signed and easy to follow. You also get to walk through a tunnel before you reach the beach.
Nice out and back. It was an easy route for any level runner. Not to crowded even though I tackled it after work.
It's a good walk for a date or an outing with kids. All downhill in; very easy. Consistent uphill out; easy/moderate. Not the best for a hike.
Beautiful walk and then what a treat when you get to the bottom!
Easy hike with a little of everything - trees and beach! We'll be back.
Nice trail, easy walk. Some great scenery.
I love this trail! It's easy and it's beautiful. The water view at the end is so stunning and peaceful. I've done this trail a few times and will continue to come here.
Lovely walk to the water. 1.5 miles one way. Would be great for a jog or run. very mild decline to the water. the walk back is slightly uphill but easy and relaxing.
Perfect for kids! Take it easy, put down your phones and listen to the sound of trickling water and birds chirping. It's all paved so it was perfect for my toddler. Bring water shoes and enjoy the view!
It was beautiful! We hung out at/walked the beach and then went up a side trail that went up to the bluff and joined the bluff trail that goes for miles--Tree Tunnel Trail (probably not official name but hand painted trail name) great hike!
Loved the view and the water was beautiful at the end!
Simply fantastic! Families with little ones would enjoy it a lot and runners could have a really great run on this trail too. No steep hills; half of the trail is paved and the rest is gravel. Sensational views when you reach the ocean. I absolute recommend it. I'm coming back for sure !
