Round the Mountain Trail is a 18.3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Toppenish, Washington that features a great forest setting and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and camping and is best used from July until November.
From Vancouver, east 70 miles on Highway 14 to Highway 141. Turn north and drive 22 miles to Forest Service Road 23 (Buck Creek Road), near the town of Trout Lake. Turn right and drive 3 miles to Forest Service Road 82. Turn right and drive 0.5 mile to Forest Service Road 80. Turn left and drive 4 miles to Forest Service Road 8040. Continue 5 miles on Road 8040 to Morrison Creek Campground and Forest Service Road 500. Turn right and drive 2 miles to the trailhead at the end of the road.
