Beautiful hike today.
The leaves are changing and it's so pretty! First time here. Can't wait to do it in the snow.
Great hike. Be sure to wear tennis or hiking shoes for the incline. Beautiful views!
The views at the top were amazing!
Took my 6yo and my dog loved it well maintained trails
This is a beautiful hike with a moderate incline most of the way. The whole family went and it's great for dogs. You will find very pretty views and stops for pictures.
Trail head very easy to find, follow signs for Stevens Creek. The trail itself is hard to follow as it has many crisscrosses and roads. The peak is the same as from Iller creek, and the trail is longer and more enjoyable coming from Iller Creek. But as always, the views are amazing, and there were less people on this side of the hills which was good for our dogs. This trail was short and steep with a lot of exploring available at the top. Beautiful!
I stopped in for a break after several hours of driving, popping in to the Stevens Creek trail head from WA 27. My pup and I took the trail from the parking area up to the top of Big Rock, wandered across the ridge for photos out over the countryside, and then jogged a lot of the way back down. LOTS of wildflowers and beautiful views in every direction from the top. I'll definitely be doing this stretch again in the future.
Excellent! Our kids said it has been their favorite hike so far.
This is a great area to hike around. I am lucky enough to live about a mile from the Stevens Creek trailhead, so I head up there often.
A wonderful hike. We started at Stevens Creek trailhead and hiked to the North trailhead and back. There are many branches in the trails that aren't marked so it's easy to get off track. The views are excellent. The trail offers steep sections, quiet forested, panoramic views, huge rocks all within view of Spokane. We will do this hike again.
Gorgeous flowers today!
Trails were well maintained and had great views. It was fairly challenging for the first hike of the year. Fast elevation changes, but still an amazing hike. I'll be going back many times!
