The rocks are cool to explore and climb on.They say this is 6.8 miles but I stretched it into 10 miles by taking lots of little side trips. Lots of area to explore.

The leaves are changing and it's so pretty! First time here. Can't wait to do it in the snow.

This is a beautiful hike with a moderate incline most of the way. The whole family went and it's great for dogs. You will find very pretty views and stops for pictures.

Trail head very easy to find, follow signs for Stevens Creek. The trail itself is hard to follow as it has many crisscrosses and roads. The peak is the same as from Iller creek, and the trail is longer and more enjoyable coming from Iller Creek. But as always, the views are amazing, and there were less people on this side of the hills which was good for our dogs. This trail was short and steep with a lot of exploring available at the top. Beautiful!

I stopped in for a break after several hours of driving, popping in to the Stevens Creek trail head from WA 27. My pup and I took the trail from the parking area up to the top of Big Rock, wandered across the ridge for photos out over the countryside, and then jogged a lot of the way back down. LOTS of wildflowers and beautiful views in every direction from the top. I'll definitely be doing this stretch again in the future.
