Did this hike a few years back it was gorgeous.
love this place for a close to town quick escape
We took the trail on the south side of Greenwood Rd. We followed the trail all the way down to the waterfall, then back. It was 2.2 miles. It starts off rather steep, then levels off as you cross over the creek several times. Bring bug spray - the mosquitos were bad once we got down by waterfall. Nice, different hike!
Great little day hike for a park close to Spokane. Will definitely come back with Major (my dog). Trails are well maintained. I didn't find any parts particularly steep, but I suppose there were a couple downs that may be bothersome to those with weak knees.
Passed by a waterfall. Overlooked the city of Spokane. Relaxing lunch stops sitting atop moss covered rocks. Passed by a couple of cows. Best part was the frost and fog in the early AM, but keep in mind things like this are mostly new and amusing to a Californian.
I'm brand new to the area. Just moved up from CA. Had a great time exploring this park with the Inland Northwest Hiking Group.
Fun trail with great sunsets and sun rises! Does anyone know where the tiny waterfall is?
I found the trail to be very confusing with bad trail markings.
Nice Sunday ride on mountain bikes. Great views. GPS location is a little off from trailhead. But if you drive down the road a little further you will see it.
A very nice trail with some wonderful views of Mt. Spokane and the city of Spokane.Spring is the best time to hike the trail because of all the different wildflowers.Today the trail was a little muddy is places due to all the rain we have been getting the past few weeks.
