I lived it. Plenty of wildlife and the smell of pine that reminds me of Christmas

Nice trails by the Elwha River, interesting history about the dam.

Exceptional hike up rocky terrain, many switch backs, some areas of sun, a constant climb. So well worth the hike. Allow 2hrs + up and 2hrs down. Great place for overnight stay.

this hike is easy to navigate and such a joy to hike its not to long and not very hard at all and theres a spot where the wall has pictures made by spray paint which are neat to see but the most beautiful thing is nature show of life
