Old Market Street Trail is a 0.9 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Kirkland, Washington that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
This trail is the old roadway over part of Lake Washington in Juanita bay and is now accessible only to pedestrians. It's popular with walkers, runners, and birdwatchers. Pilings from the old dock used for ferry service are visible here, along with a couple of bald eagles who move between Juanita Bay park and Juanita beach park, and fish in the lake below.
