we really enjoyed it here--great camping spots--come early to get the best ones--we were lucky to get a perfect one near Bayley Lake...would go again!

Went Saturday 4/9/16
Spring is in the air and the freshly sprouted flowers and lush growth was spectacular! I had an amazing time getting grounded and exploring this treasure. A great hike

The Little Pend Oreille Refuge protects over 40,000 acres of diverse habitats which attract a wide range of birds and mammals. The streams and lakes are used by moose,osprey,painted turtles,blue herons and a wide variety of shorebirds. Camping is permitted in campgrounds from April 14th through December 31 and in designated sites from October 1 through December 31st The campgrounds are primitive with pit toilets an no potable water.
