Lake Padden Singletrack is a 2.6 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Bellingham, WA and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and mountain biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
My favorite daily hike!
Good trail for a nice stroll or a run. Nothing spectacular, fairly heavily traveled. Nice lake to take a dip in after.
Pretty place! Very kid friendly and runner friendly.
Definitely not really a hiking trail, but it's great if you want to go for a jog, a swim, walk your dog etc. very family friendly.
This is a nice straight trail. Very little incline and good for beginners.
What a fantastic day not to hot for walking or to cold Only 58 degrees. Love this walk and I got my 10000 steps in. Yeah for my heart
Lake Padden is a gravel trail that follows closely to the water edge. Great hike to stretch your legs and seeing local birds.
Fun to ride, good climbing. Tough for first timers to follow the trails.
Local favorite groomed trail around the lake.
A WWU team was running it. Many locals were strolling it with friends and dogs.
We were sore from hiking the Oyster Dome the night before so this was our morning stretch before a second hike after breakfast then a kayak trip on Whatcom Lake. If would be a great after work walk.
06/14 Very good hike midlevel great for beginners and dogs various side routes to give yourself personal challenged.
Great place for a good quiet walk. If you are going clock-wise then just before you get to the dog park area there is a turn off that leads to a much bigger set of trails just to the east of the lake. That set of trails is great for dogs but beware, it is off leash and also lots of mountain bikers (most of which are pretty good about sharing the trails.)
Love this loop... I recommend for any age for a good leg stretch. Great views, and it goes through some steep hills through a forrest area then some flat around the lake. Beautiful area.
Good for an early morning or late afternoon stroll.
