Lake Elizabeth Trail is a 0.7 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Skykomish, WA and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, horses, and mountain biking and is accessible from May until December. Dogs and horses are also able to use this trail.
Directions from Skykomish: Drive 4 miles west on U.S. Hwy. 2. Turn south onto the Old Cascade Highway just west of the highway tunnel. Drive 1 mile then turn south onto Miller River Road #6410. Drive 100 yards and turn right onto Money Creek Road #6420. Proceed 6.9 miles to Lake Elizabeth.
Very pretty. Still had some snow on the ground last weekend in June. The trail did need some work. Had some washouts in several spots and was very wet and muddy. I imagine that it would be better later in the summer if it's maintained, but the bugs will be terrible.
