Good hike and some good views! you can do an hour hike or do the whole loop which takes about 2 hours. Easy to find.
A fairly easy trek. The trails are well maintained and wide enough to walk two by two. it is dog friendly, well marked, has plenty of parking at the trail head, and has a nice view of the palouse once you are at the top.
Pretty view of the weath fields.
Good short hike, with great view of the palouse
One of my favorite spots on the Palouse. Kamiak offers a nice picnic area (with bathroom) and then a decent trail through woods and up to great views along the top of the ridge. There are some lesser-used trails that allow you to wander some of the lower areas of the park as well, which are nice when the sun is high. In the summer the park often offers different "campfire conversations" that bring local history and nature buffs in for free presentations.
Walked the loop that included the initial vista and the summit. Accidentally stopped recording for a portion of the hike. So, that's why it doesn't look like a loop. Excellent views and a pleasant hike.
Absolutely beautiful and would recommend to anyone! We also did a little bit of geocaching while we were up there. It was a great day hike!
I did this hike last week it was amazing and very rewarding views from the top!
Fairly simple trail with a great view, wonderful to take kids on!
