Grand Prospect is a 8 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near North Bend, WA that features a great forest setting. The trail is rated as moderate and primarily used for hiking, trail running, and horses. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

A less busy approach to the wonderful views. Grand Prospect is 4.5 miles up from the trailhead. This trail can be hiked all year round. Expect a lot more solitude on this approach and enjoy some of the best views around, of Snoqualmie Valley, Mount Si, Mount Teneriffe, North Bend and more. You can choose to hike to one of the pleasant viewpoints along the way, to Rattlesnake Mountain, or as a traverse all the way to . The views are some of the best in the Cascade foothills and the trail can be hiked year-round, though it can be snowy in winter and can be muddy/slippery in patches after a good rain. Bring layers as the weather/temp changes.
I've hiked this trail several times, most recently today. The trail is in great shape and is well marked. There is active logging activity after Grand Prospect so hikers cannot continue on towards Rattlesnake Lake.
