Chuckanut Drive is a 20 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Bellingham, WA that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for birding and scenic driving and is accessible year-round.
Twenty miles of the states original Pacific Highway, half of it cutting a straight line through Skagit Valley farmlands and half clinging precariously to bayside cliffs. This drive has been called the Wizards path through Oz, Washingtons Big Sur, and a landmark coastal drive. Much of it hugs the Scenic drive along the WA coast between Bellingham and Skagit valley farmland.
