There are a series of trails in the area. Some were constructed in 1989 and 1990 for the purpose of Nordic skiing and mountain biking. The majority of trails are located off the top of Chewelah Mountain and tie into exiting roads which in turn connect back to the ski lodge off the Flowery Trail road.
