Wildcat Ridge Trail is a 6 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Crimora, Virginia that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from March until September.
Was a beautiful trail but didn't see anything "huge" that would make the trail worth doing again. Some nice small water spots but lots of elevation.
I have hiked this trail a number of times as part of a Wildcat Ridge - AT - Riprap loop. There are limited vista views (though Chimney rocks is pretty nice), but some nice waterfalls along the loop. Lots of elevation.
