The Peak Trail is a 9.2 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Washington, Virginia that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible from March until October.
This trail is not properly marked, it's very hard during the fall time because one ridge is very slippery during fall. 12.5 mile long trail
If someone like to make short can attempt from devil stair.
Circle around around the peak mountain giving lots of beautiful view.
Great challenge and exercise even in snow/sleet/hail/windstorms (encountered all if these). No views available, but definitely a cool portion if SNP to explore. Would go again for sure, but it is steep if you take full gear.
