Shenandoah Valley Loop: Winchester - Luray - Strasburg - New Market is a 110 mile trail located near Winchester, Virginia. The trail is primarily used for scenic driving and is accessible year-round.
We made the trip out to the Shenandoah Valley several times when we lived in the Washington, DC area. A nice country drive not far from the city, yet far removed in atmosphere. Don't miss Luray Caverns and the 1.5 mile trek through the stalactites and stalagmites.
Done this ride several times, but I am not sure if it is the same. The loop hits those towns with that mileage so it must be right.
A nice drive in the country. I thought there would be traffic but there was very little. We are usually on the high road, Skyline Drive, so it was nice poking around the valley.
