Trail in Nov is full of leaves, and a bit difficult to follow. Would rate this VP between easy and moderate.
Fun, easy trail with beautiful views!
it was great easy fun with a wonderful view, secluded as well as clean, recommended.
I had fun. It's an easy and quick hiking. It's more like a walk in a park/along a river.
Very nice. Not too easy and not too complicated.
Green is "easy"
White is hard and steep
There's yellow and maybe one other color - haven't done those yet.
Water over looks are nice
I love red rock. I've been going there since I was a kid always fun and it's a place u can go off trail and be safe. I also went geocaching and that was awesome too.
Nice and convent trail for a quick hike. Kid and pet friendly.
Perfect for dog and toddler.
Beautiful and easy going walk. Peaceful by the river and at the overlook. Great for a family nature walk.
Nice walk. Beautiful view of the river, especially when we climbed down to it.
If you don't have to drive anymore than 15-20 minutes to get here then it makes for a nice little morning outing. Some hills as well as flat trails. Plenty of parking easy in and out. Nice for the dog or maybe some young kids to explore. Only hang up is that half the trail is scenic, and the other half is a water treatment plant. So if you want a scenic trail away from streets and buildings I would choose one of the many others located in the surrounding area that are close to the Potomac.
It was a nice walk as long as you stay in the trail. I went down to the river bank and it was hard to climb back up. However I was able to clime up. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
