dogs on leash
moderately difficult trails but all are worth while. There is a great overlook spot with a bench called overlook spur as well as a cascade trail that was better than I expected.
Great trail! Beautiful views in the beginning and awesome stream and small falls midway through the full trail. Switchbacks were challenging but enjoyable.
great hike on a beautiful day
Well maintained and has a little of everything! Views of Salem, pretty wooded trail and cascades at the bottom. Going back up was easier going counter clockwise.
This trail is very quiet, went Monday mid day and no one else was on the trail. Actual trail head and parking lot is half a mile before the directions say on this app if coming from bent mountain, if coming from Salem it will be half a mile past destination point on your right. Lots of woods hiking with sporadic but good views of surrounding mountains. Half way through you get to a small river with a few small cascades. Don't think this is labeled for mtn biking but definitely not a good trail for mtn biking, rocky trails with sharp turns. There is a one mile loop with red labels and then about 3.5 to 3.75 (with short overlook trails) mile outer loop with blue labels. I had cell service the whole time which I was happy about since I was a solo hiker.
beautiful day for a beautiful hike
