Otter Point Trail is a 1.5 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Chesapeake, Virginia that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

No bikes or horses. The trail follows close to the Northwest River from Smith Creek to Southern Terminal at the park.

I liked this trail. It cut back through the woods and swamp. Lots of big pine and old Cyprus.
This is a nice wooded trail with forest, swamp and where Smith Creek comes into the Northwest River. There is a huge Bald Cypress tree that they claim is several hundred years old.
