Just did the trail yesterday morning. Good trail; thick wooded area nice pathway. Pretty easy trail although can be muddy after rain so take that into account also.
I love this trail. We entered from the Trillium Trail and it was pretty muddy for the first tenth mile and then the mud ended and it was just a beautiful wooded trail the rest of the way.
The mileage is from park headquarters or nearest parking lot. The actual Otey Shelton Trail is a little over a half mile. It can be combined with several other trails. There is a bench where it meets the Trillium Trail and one near the end at Wetlands. It was muddy in places yesterday but we just had a lot of rain.
