This place was absolutely beautiful! A small campground with secluded sites make for a great experience. Creek access from EVERY campsite, fire pit, lots of space and privacy, $10 a night! And a beautiful drive up to the campground. I will definitely be back.

I can't believe we're the first to review this amazing gem! North Creek is by far our favorite spot. We stopped here heading out of Shenandoah and can't begin to do it justice. The road to get there is mostly all paved and easy to navigate in car or SUV sun or rain.
We stayed at campsite #10 (#11 was the best but a guy had it locked up) the stream is accessible from most campsites (why we enjoy it so much!) and provides the best background music to a camping experience. We have a Platypus filter and the easy stream access means we're always full up. The dog loved it (the water blocks out bumps in the night that keep her up).
Was very wooded- we were able to set up our hammock right next to our campsite. Lots of firewood on the ground. Love the fire pits! It rained after we set up and my boyfriend was able to build a small fire and use the grate to dry logs for additional kindling. Also, because it's bear country there are posts for hanging items.
Though it rained the campsite dried very quickly, and with the dense trees, the warmth hung in the air and made for an enjoyable night in the tent.
The campsites themselves are large enough to have space but are very private from each other. The bathrooms are very clean and close by to our site.
The host was very kind and for $10/night we might be back every weekend.
We just can't tell you how much we love North Creek.
