After entering the park, turn left and follow the main road until you come to the first road on right marked Campground B. Turn here and drive a short distance to a lot marked Terrace Gardens. After parking, walk up the shallow steps to reach Plantation Trail. Follow Plantation trail to the right to reach Mossy Creek.
We did every trail in the park and this one ranked low among them.
I did this last year. We had a cabin at the park and did everything.
You can pick it up from the plantation or off Occoneechee Park Road near Panhandle Road. Like most of the Park's trails it is a pleasant wooded trail with a little up and down but no serious grades. Be sure and check out the remains of the terrace gardens.
